This is part of the Bossy Nova music that Jim
Gerrish wrote for the Wiz Kids in 1980 as a learning tool for the
keyboard. There are five parts in the complete piece, each
designed to train sight reading, eye-hand coordination on the
keyboard, fingering techniques, and music theory as the Wiz Kid
progresses. Rather than play scales, this teaches them the same
skills using a piece of music that is actually used in Wiz Kid
performances to accompany the jugglers.
Each Wiz Kid is encouraged to use his or her own name where
you see "Fred- 'rick Goode." It is specifically
designed to be used with an electronic keyboard and is not
considered a piano piece, for which other music is better used.
